Ghent University International Student Regatta

Ghent University and the Gentse Roei- en Sportvereniging are proud to present the first edition of the Ghent University International Student Regatta, a sports event to celebrate the first 200 exciting years of our University!
The races take place Friday 7 April.  That same weekend, on 8 and 9 April, the Ghent International Spring Regatta takes place on the same rowing course.
The races will be rowed on the Watersportbaan G. Nachez in Ghent, a known venue and home to three other International regattas. ​

Programme

There are races in coxless four and coxed eight, both for women and men: 4-W, 4-M, 8+W, 8+M. For more information, please check the programme.

Accomodation

We collaborate with the hotel Holiday Inn Express Ghent. Thanks to their large beds, this hotel is perfectly suited for rowers. Please send the reservation form to [email protected].

200th anniversary

Ghent University was founded on 9 October 1817 in the presence of King Willem Frederik of Orange-Nassau. In 2017 the whole Ghent University community will celebrate that historic moment. Be part of it!​
